A Night Under the Stars: Family-Friendly Movie Night
The first event is a delightful family movie night scheduled for Monday, June 30th, at the West Side Leadership Academy's football stadium. The excitement begins at 5:00 p.m., granting families ample time to settle in before the screening starts at 6 PM. This year’s feature, the animated film "Dog Man," promises to captivate both children and adults. Attendees can bring their own blankets and chairs, enhancing their outdoor cinema experience. To sweeten the deal, free popcorn will be provided for the first 50 guests, adding a touch of nostalgia to the evening.
Engaging Activities at Family Field Day
Following the movie night, the Family Field Day on Saturday, July 19, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. will transform the stadium into a vibrant playground. A variety of engaging activities are planned, including the popular "Touch a Truck" event, where children can get an up-close look at emergency vehicles such as fire trucks and ambulances. The day will be filled with games, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities, allowing families to connect with each other and the community.
